Growing up in the culture-rich Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts, where the Boston Symphony, Music Inn, The Berkshire Theater Festival and Shakespeare and Co were part of my everyday scene, a career in the arts always seemed like the obvious path for me. Encouraged by my very musical family to study piano and violin I was able to experience the amazing opportunities found at the famous Tanglewood Institute (where I was coached and conducted by Leonard Bernstein) and at the Eastman School of Music, where I earned my bachelor’s degree.
Since college, I have spent the last 20+years composing, arranging and producing music for advertising, television, movie trailers, independent films and multi-media where I've written music for many notable ad campaigns for Mastercard, Nike, At&t, Coke, Mercedes-Benz, M&Ms and many others and for TV networks such as National Geographic, The History Channel, CBS, Lifetime, WB, Bloomberg and Nick Jr.
Currently I live in beautiful Bucks County, PA with my wife, the talented singer/producer Renee Cologne and our two boys, Tristan and Zander.
